Cheesy Italian Pasta

Cheesy Italian Pasta
Serves 5   

6 cups COLD water (Add more if needed) 
1 1/2 cups FD ground beef
1 1/2 cup small pasta 
½ cup of powdered milk
1 cup FD diced tomatoes
1 T corn starch,           
1 T mixed Italian herbs,
1 tsp onion powder,         
1 tsp garlic,or to taste 
1 tsp salt                        
1 tsp sugar.
Stir in 1 cup FD mozzarella, near the end. (no need to reconstitute)

 

Add all ingredients except cheese to pan
and simmer until noodles are cooked.
Add cheese. 
Let sit 5 minutes to thicken before serving.


JAR VERSION:
layer in  Quart jar or Mylar bag
½ cup of powdered milk
1 T corn starch, (or 1-1/2 T Ulta Gel)              
1 T mixed Italian herbs
1 tsp onion powder    
1 tsp garlic 
1 tsp salt                     
1 tsp sugar
1 1/2 cups FD ground beef (or 3/4 c sausage + 3/4 c ground beef)
1 1/2 cup small pasta 
1 cup FD diced tomatoes
place in portion baggie 1 cup FD mozzarella, 
Seal Jar with O2 Absorber

To Prepare meal  in large pot 
Boil 6 cups water,  add contents of jar reserve baggie of cheese 
Cover and Simmer 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.Add more water if needed. 
Add the cheese portion, no need to reconstitute
Cover and let rest 5 minutes beforeg serving.
