Quick and easy freezer jam

Prep Time  45 minutes


  • c thrive freeze dried fruit
  • c very warm water
  • 1 1⁄2 c thrive sugar
  • 1 pkg ball instant fruit pectin


In a large mixing bowl, add fruit and very warm water, with ½ cup of the sugar. Let sit for 30 minutes to absorb water. Crush the fruit with a slotted spoon, fork, or masher.
In a separate non-reactive bowl (glass is a good choice), add the remaining cup of sugar and the package of Ball Instant Fruit Pectin. Stir to mix the pectin and sugar together.
Add the mashed fruit to the sugar and pectin in the glass bowl.
Stir 3 minutesLadle into clean jars or containers and let stand for 30 minutes.Refrigerate or put in freezer.
This is a low sugar recipe and the pectin worked great.
This recipe would work for all of our freeze-dried fruits except the peaches.
